Switching Table Types

I am currenlty considering switching my site from MyISAM table types to InnoDB. I understand that I will be losing a little bit of speed in doing this, but my feelings on it are that the row level locking and data integrity improvements more than make up for the little bit of speed I am losing.

Basically what I am wondering is if anyone out there feels that I might run into any major problems in doing this.

Huge problem

Mysteriously, tonight I can't access anything such as /users/username/ and I can't figure out why. All the BML loads ine and works. The error log shows nothing helpful:

[Wed Jul 30 23:37:55 2003] [error] [client] File does not exist: /home/lj/htdocs/users

And a bunch more attempts going from just about every angle I could think of.

ANY clue what's going on? I've restarted apache twice, no changes. I can log in as the users I have created, but i still can't view the journals. /admin/priv/ works, though.
