new livejournal installation/config issue

hi...

i'm doing a new livejournal installation... i've gone through the livejournal install docs... and i've got the code on the server, and the mysql db created, etc...

right now, i need to figure out how/what to add to the httpd.conf file...

i have the following section for the livejournal.. in the httpd.conf

(test2 is simply a a test)

so, if i can see what other httpd.conf files look like, i can hopefully get this up/running...

------------------------------------
UseCanonicalName Off
NameVirtualHost 192.168.1.55:87

[Error: Irreparable invalid markup ('<virtualhost 192.168.1.55:87>') in entry. Owner must fix manually. Raw contents below.]

Apache::Constants

Alright, I've googled this and done some heavy searching, but so far have come up empty handed. Sorry if this is a dumb question - I have a feeling it's something simple but I just can't put my finger on it.

Some background: The box is running FC3 and is on my home network (Cable, Cox). I have a apache listening to port 8557 as Cox blocks port 80. When installing one of the modules, it didn't like "localhost", so I threw in one of my domain names (dangquesadilla.com) to see if that would satisfy. I also setup DNS on the machine and have dangquesadilla.com's DNS pointing at it. This was just done, however, and has probably not propogated.

With that said, I've gotten to the point of modifying httpd.conf as directed in the setup instructions. When I make the changes, however, and restart apache, I receive this error:

[root@ns1 /]# service httpd start
Starting httpd: [Wed May 04 22:18:44 2005] [error] Can't locate loadable object for module Apache::Constants in @INCCollapse )

I've been stuck at this point for 2 days now, and have removed perl, mod_perl & apache and done full reinstalls just for good measure. :/ Should I just install Debian?

Thanks for any advice, and sorry if this is a n00b question.

EDIT: Just in case it's needed, here's my httpd.conf: Collapse )
