ok. now i'm REALLY confused. my httpd worked just fine before (i'm using apache, most recent release.) and for some reason, after configuring everything for lj, it has mysteriously decided to stop working. I decided to check the error log... and this is what i found.

[Sat Apr 5 08:40:19 2003] [notice] Apache/1.3.26 (Unix) mod_perl/1.27 configured -- resuming normal operations
[Sat Apr 5 08:40:19 2003] [notice] Accept mutex: sysvsem (Default: sysvsem)
[Sat Apr 5 08:40:40 2003] [notice] caught SIGTERM, shutting down

Anyone have any clue as to what could cause this to happen? Every time I start the httpd with the startup script, I see: ./apachectl start: httpd started

But when I try to STOP it... I see: ./apachectl stop: httpd (no pid file) not running

Could someone please help me out here?
